How long does validation take?
It's usually quick during our support hours — often just a few minutes once we have clear documents. If you've got a booking coming up, tell us and we'll prioritise you.Few readersCan I add my partner or a friend as a driver?
Yes, but everyone who drives must have their own approved Ollo profile, and they need to be a resident of the same building. Ask them to download the app, create their profile and upload their licence, a selfie and their proof of hub. Once they're validated we can add them to your booking. Letting an unverified person drive isn't allowed — an unauthorised driver fee of $500 applies and it voids your damage cover.Few readersCan I drive on an international or non-English licence?
Yes, you can drive on a valid overseas licence, but it must be accompanied by a valid International Driving Permit. If your licence is not in English, you must also have an accurate English translation issued by NAATI (the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters) that explains any conditions and the vehicle category. Send your licence and the IDP or NAATI translation through here or to support@ollo.com.au and we'll get you validated.Few readersAm I eligible to drive? (age, licence type, history)
To drive an Ollo vehicle you must hold a current, full driver's licence that is appropriate for the vehicle and not subject to any restriction or condition. Learner, provisional (P-plate) and probationary licence holders cannot drive. Your licence must not have been cancelled or suspended (including through demerit points) in the past three years, and you must never have been convicted of culpable, dangerous or reckless driving, or of drink/drug driving offences. Age limits apply per vehicle aFew readersI uploaded everything but I'm still not validated
No stress - I'll get the crew to check it for you. The usual causes are a blurry licence photo, a proof of hub that doesn't clearly show your name and the building address, or a selfie that didn't match.Few readersHow do I get verified so I can book?
To drive an Ollo car we need three things on your profile, all uploaded in the Profile tab of the Ollo app: a clear photo of your driver's licence (front and back) showing your name, date of birth and licence expiry; a selfie so we can match it to your licence; and your proof of residency (a document showing you live at your building). Once those are in, our crew validates your account, usually quickly during support hours. When you're approved you'll get a welcome email with your access detailFew readersWhat is proof of hub and what counts?
Proof of hub is a document that confirms you live at your Ollo building. We accept a rental or tenancy agreement, or a utility bill (electricity, gas, water). It needs to show your name and the building's address. If the bill is in your partner's name and you live together, that person can set up their own account using it.Few readers
