  • Do I pay for charging? What about public or fast chargers?
Charging at your building is free. You will just cover the costs of charging during your trip at a public charger (Chargefox, Evie, AmpCharge, Tesla Supercharger, etc.) if you're on a longer rental. If you're driving a Tesla, Ollo will automatically be billed for the charging session and we will pass this on to you once the trip has ended. One thing to watch: once a public charge finishes, unplug and move the car promptly. Charging networks levy idle fees for occupying a charger after chaFew readers
  • The car was on low charge when I picked it up
Sorry about that. Usually it means the previous driver returned late or didn't plug in, or the building charger had an issue. Message us: we can look into it, help with a fast-charge reimbursement if you need range now, and sort a refund or credit where appropriate. We'll also flag the charger to the building.Few readers

Letting the battery go flat through negligence can mean a call-out fee ($100 plus towing), so charge before you run low.Few readers

Make sure you're using the RFID card that lives inside the car (not your phone) and tapping it on the charger reader after plugging in. If it still won't start, the charger itself may be faulty — let us know and we'll get the building to check it.Few readers
  • How do I charge the car at my building?
When you return, drive back into the allocated parking space and plug the charging cable in. At some properties, you’ll need to use the RFID card inside the car (usually located in the centre console) and simply tap the card on the charger to start charging. At other properties, you may only need to plug the vehicle in with no card tap required. Any property-specific charging instructions or triggers required will be outlined in your End of Rental Checklist. Charging at your building is frFew readers
