# How do I extend my booking?

The quickest way is in the app — edit your current trip and change the return time. If the option is greyed out or says unavailable (sometimes it won't let you extend beyond an hour, or the car has a later booking after yours), let us know and we'll check if we can extend it on our end. Just tell us the new return time you'd like.

||| Please always extend before your booking ends. Returning more than 30 minutes late without an approved extension means you'll be charged for the extra time plus any costs we incur — for example if the next driver was affected.
